Easy Kitchen Storage
I have so much vertical space above my sink, so I decided to hang a branch from the cabinets above, and use S hooks to hold the bottle brushes, scrub brushes and dishrags. Its great to be able to have everything within easy reach, but not cluttering up the counter. And it was so easy to make! I had all the materials already except the S hooks.
I braided the rope myself using a half-square knot to get the spiral texture. Basically, you take the outer strings, create a “4” shape, and tighten. Make sure that one string goes over the middle pieces and behind the opposite outer string, and make sure the other outer string does the opposite, passing under the middle strings and over the outer string before tightening.
