Thankfully, the bedroom was already a finished room when we moved in, with a door, closet, and drywall. It was painted the loveliest shade of lavender, very soft and relaxing. After completing the floors we moved in to the bedroom right away. Its the perfect size for our queen bed with plenty of room on either side to walk and room for a dresser and rug. The bedroom is in the southeast corner and shines all day with bright, natural light. I’d like to accent with terra cotta colors, wood, and brass. For textures I would love to incorporate basketry, linen bedsheets, and fur rugs. And of course, lots of plants! There is a few things that need repair. The outlets and the bedroom door need to be replaced. One of the windows has a broken window pane. The closet needs doors as well.
