My husband and I were married in April 2019. I wanted to design a family crest for us that would highlight important symbols of our life. The loon and bear are very special to us and represent our love for the North. The hands, hammer, and knife are symbols of creativity and making. The flames signify our love for the outdoors and campfire. The log below is from an aspen tree, and the oyster mushrooms are a favorite of his to eat, and mine to paint!
